amadan brings significant changes to the global fashion calendar, and every year more and more leading international brands release special capsules and even full collections dedicated to this holy month.

Muslim consumers are willing to spend money on high-quality and exclusive items, which makes this market segment very attractive to brands. Over the past few years, dozens of brands have been trying to attract the attention of this influential and solvent segment of consumers. This applies not only to clothing, but also to unique collections of shoes, bags, accessories, jewelry, and home goods. Ramadan collections are mostly created for the market and taking into account the tastes of residents of the Persian Gulf countries (UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain), and are sold only in these countries or online. But many brands are already starting to expand their sales geography and offer the opportunity to purchase these collections in their boutiques in European countries (mainly in London and Paris)

In terms of spending on gifts and purchases, Ramadan can be compared to Christmas in the West. This is an emotional period when the success of special collections is largely due to their exclusivity, and not just the desire to buy something new. This time of year is special, and brands understand its importance.

A study by Think With Google found that in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt, overall consumer spending increases by 53% during the fasting period, with spending on everyday items increasing by 90%. In Indonesia, 84% of consumers also spend more during Ramadan, according to Snapcart 2023 data.

The reasons for this increase are obvious: people need to stock up on groceries to cook, buy clothes for social gatherings, attend iftars, buy Eid gifts, make donations, and more. According to Statista, in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) alone, online spending during Ramadan in 2023 will reach $6.7 billion, up $500 million from $6.2 billion in 2022.

Ramadan is not just a spiritual journey; it is a time of joyful encounters and moments of beauty. As the fast ends with the evening iftar (fast-breaking) that turns into a celebration, fashion becomes an integral part of the occasion. As Ramadan approaches, designers offer wardrobes that reflect elegance, sophistication and cultural resonance. From the pearlescent leather of Celine to the delicate embroidery of Silk Road by Max Mara, from the cinematic elegance of Ferragamo to the bold luxury of Versace, the Ramadan 2025 season promises to be a masterclass in sophistication. Whether you choose statement jewelry from Bvlgari or the oriental notes of Lime, these collections prove that modesty and luxury can coexist in perfect harmony.

The immediate target audience and consumers say that they value international brands that truly understand their needs. This year, leading designers presented exclusive Ramadan collections that honor tradition and combine modern craftsmanship with effortless chic. From exquisite silhouettes and intricate embroidery to statement embellishments and sophisticated tailoring, the best Ramadan collections 2025 reflect the beauty of the season in every detail.

It is important to note that these collections are not only modest outfits, as one might imagine at first glance. Many of them are evening and festive, sometimes quite revealing. This is due to the peculiarities of the lifestyle: festive iftars are often held with family. However, among the offerings, you can also find everyday pieces with a twist.

Almost all the descriptions of these collections include such epithets as exclusivity, sophistication, elegance, luxury, heritage, rich textures and rare types of materials.

“The link to exclusivity is of great importance. The buyer wants to feel unique, the owner of something special, created especially for them, taking into account their lifestyle and needs,” experts say. We have collected for you more than 40 brands so that you can appreciate the diversity of these collections:

It is nice that the Mango capsule for Ramadan can be purchased in Russia.

The Russian brand LIME also released a special collection for Ramadan for the Middle East, in Russia and other countries it was labeled as Orient .

Unfortunately, these collections do not reach Russia, although in our country there are entire regions where up to 90% of the population celebrate Ramadan, but their needs are ignored and underestimated by mainstream brands. Yes, our country has its own peculiarities and its own culture of Ramadan celebration is developing. This niche and consumer portrait are heterogeneous and vary in different regions. I especially want to support Russian modest brands that are trying to cover these needs and have released their collections for Ramadan 2025: MANNE, Maleka, Arshaevy, Sabr, Hayat.

An analysis of sales of brands that release special Ramadan capsules shows that these collections have a significant impact on overall sales, increase brand loyalty in general, and help strengthen their reputation in the global fashion industry.
